QUICK STIR FRY VEGETABLES (Chopsuey)



Onion
Garlic
Tofu, cubed
Cauliflower
Brocolli
Bell pepper
Carrot
Snow peas
2 tablespoons of cornstarch, dissolved in 1/4 cup of water
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon organic soy sauce or Bragg's Liquid Aminos
1/2 cup water
Saute onion, garlic and tofu. Pour all vegetables and 1/2 cup water. Simmer for 3 minutes. Add cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup water, oyster sauce and Bragg's Liquid Aminos. Simmer until sauce thickens and serve hot.

How come this is safe for someone with reflux? I thought onions and garlic are great offenders for the sphincter muscle (the main reason the stomach acid flows back to the esophagus)? Can you suggest something without those two ingredients? Thanks.

This recipe is not okay for those suffering from severe gerd. Garlic and onions are a huge no no.
